GSM-Scout

The GSM-Scout is an easy to handle mobile device for tracking and positioning of movable goods and people, on which the routes covered are stored in a free-definable time interval for the belated analysis. On motion an alarm is triggered through the integrated motion detector. Due to its exceedingly small dimensions (108 x 55 x 23 mm) any movable goods or packaging can be fit easily with the GSM-Scout.

You can query the current position of the GSM-Scout via a SMS at any time. The GSM-Scout returns the GPS position and a link to visualize the position on a web-based digital map (e. g. Google Maps™, Google Earth™).

The GSM-Scout can be activated / deactivated via the power button or via a SMS. In case of alarm a SMS or email is sent to predefined phone numbers or email-addresses. In parallel real-time tracking and the transmission of ambient noise can be activated. In case of bad conditions the system switches automatically to cell-ID based positioning (if the coordinates of the cell phone towers are public accessible).

The handling of the GSM-Scout and the analyzing software is very easy. A short introduction is sufficient; complex trainings are not required.
